The home test that prevents many returns
Mark the route with masking tape and a chair: doors, turns, bed height, caregiver space and storage. Then picture the task on a difficult day, with fatigue and limited cooperation. This simple rehearsal reveals obstacles that a product page cannot show and lets you compare alternatives on the same terms.
The boundary not to cross
Higher is not always better: dangling feet or an unstable posture make matters worse. This model provides no arms or lateral support.
Seek clinical or occupational-therapy advice for new severe pain, an open wound, a recent fall, sudden weakness, breathing difficulty or inability to control head and trunk. An online guide cannot assess those risks remotely.
